The Bee Friendly Wine Tour is your chance to learn how to help bees at home, while enjoying some of the finest wines that the Willamette Valley has to offer. At the events you will learn skills to help bees from Oregon wine growers, as well as and . Tour stops focus on four core skills: beekeeping, bee biodiversity, planting for bees and mason bees. 8800 Enchanted Way SE, Turner, OR 97392- $30 per person ($20 for Club Members and Owners)Celebrate Earth Day at our Estate in the Salem Hills with a Mason Bees Tour & Tasting on Saturday, April 20th. Your tour will take you through our Estate Vineyard, where you'll learn about our Mason bee program and how it encourages sustainable growing practices. Steven Paisley, who works with our vineyard team to incorporate Mason bees on the property, will provide a behind-the-scenes look at our pollinators at work. The cost includes the tour, a tasting of select wines, and a honey-themed cheese plate. Admission will be complimentary with the purchase of two or more bottles of your favorite wines of the day.

19255 N HWY 99W, Dayton, OR 97114 - $50 per person ($40 for Owners and Club Members)Domaine Willamette will host a bees and plants tour around the property. Wine will be poured along the way as guests visit the Biodynamic Garden and learn from a Master Melittologist speaker, travel to the pond to learn about biodiversity and biodynamics, and then head to the cellar doors. Inside the cellar, guests will learn from a Master Gardener. The tour will conclude in the Barrel Room, where snacks will be provided and attendees can choose their favorite wine of the day.
 

May 4 - (11am - 2pm)

10280 NE Oak Springs Farm Rd, Carlton, OR 97111 - $65 per personThe tour at Abbey Road Farm will focus on biodiversity, bees, and plants. Planting with a purpose and how to add pollinator-friendly plants into the landscape will be discussed. This experience will include a walk around the property and it is advised that attendees bring bottled water, comfortable shoes, and a jacket depending on weather conditions. A boxed lunch, a glass of bubbles, and a souvenir will be given to each attendee!
 

May 5 - - Stoller’s Hanna Farm Orchard - (9am - 12pm)

Head of Corporate Gardens, Corinne Gosnell, will take you through our heirloom orchard as it wakes from its winter slumber and show you the sustainability practices that allow our native mason bee population to flourish. These unique pollinators are an important part of the Willamette Valley ecosystem, so join us to learn more about these species and our work to preserve this land for future generations.Indulge in a delightful selection of pastries with fresh seasonal fruits, complemented by a choice of tea, coffee, and a refreshing glass of Sparkling wine following your stroll.

At Left Coast, we've put all of our love into the land. We have conserved and restored over 100 acres of Oregon White Oak forest. We've also made a significant effort to restore the forest floor with extensive seeding of native flowering forbs and grasses. The estate gardens will complement the natural landscape with a variety of flowers and scenic views. We will be doing a walking tour of the estate and highlighting our oak restoration project. You will learn about the processes that we've undergone the last 8 years to realize this transformation and the ongoing efforts to continue to enhance our natural landscapes for native flora and fauna. Tour participants will meet at the Tasting Room at 10:45am. We will be walking about 1 mile in distance with 200 feet of elevation change. Please bring appropriate footwear for an outdoor hike. The tour will last about an hour and is free to participate. After the tour our Tasting Room will open at noon with wood fired pizzas, lunch options and wine tasting available.Additionally, we will be offering an in-depth estate bloom experience in our 1950 flatbed truck. This tour starts at 12pm and lasts 90 minutes. We will travel across the estate and visit some of Left Coast's most scenic vistas. We will learn about viticulture, the history of the estate and visit our more remote gardens with Estate Master Gardener and member of Family Ownership, Bob Pfaff. The tour ends with Wine Tasting paired with small bites. Space is very limited with space only available for 12 guests.

Join owner Emily Gladhart as we explore the various bee-friendly plantings at different locations throughout the property. Master Melittologist volunteers will be present to conduct a bee safari as we wander the grounds, exploring the current season’s bees. Winter’s Hill has a focus on native plants and has an oak woodland, which will all all be highlighted on the tour. Wine will also be poured at multiple stations throughout the tour! Wear sturdy shoes- we will be taking a 1/2 mile walk.

Join us for an immersive experience celebrating the symbiotic relationship between bees, biodynamics, and winemaking at Youngberg Hill. This tour, led by Nicolette, our resident beekeeper and owner, offers a unique insight into our biodynamic practices and the vital role bees play in our ecosystem.

We will gather at the Inn at 10:00 am. After a brief introduction, we will walk through our biodynamic vineyard, where Nicolette will discuss sustainable farming practices and the importance of bees in vineyard management. We will even visit the beehives! The tour will end in the tasting room, where you can enjoy a honey mimosa paired with a honey-topped crostini.
Honey will be available for purchase; feel free to enjoy a wine tasting after the tour and stick around for our summer open market experience.

Fairsing Vineyard hosts Bee Friendly Fairsing Friday, an evening event with bottle service on the lawn. This event will feature a special bee education component. We will talk about our honey bees and a Master Melittologist will be present to discuss native bees and planting for pollinators.

5000 NE Sokol Blosser Ln, Dayton, OR 97114 - $60 per person (Club Members receive a discount)Join Susan Sokol Blosser, one of the founding members of the Oregon Wine Industry turned beekeeper, and learn about the history and sustainability of Sokol Blosser Winery. A local melittologist and Susan will help you identify bees, learn about the flora in the Sokol Blosser vineyard while you stroll through the vines sipping on wine from various stations throughout the property. Return to our scenic tasting room for some hand-crafted bites from Chef Jonathan made with Sokol Blosser Estate honey.

This experience will have a focus on conservation and Planet Oregon wines will be poured along the way. 1% of sales are donated to the Oregon Environmental Council. At the end of the hike, there will be a tabling event and a Master Melittologist will be present to answer questions.

Join our biodynamic estate gardener and resident beekeeper, Shannon Mayhew, for a bee-friendly wine tour! Learn about late-season pollination sources and the importance of nurturing them, ideal plants to cultivate, and methods for propagating existing plants in your garden. Shannon will also discuss the significance of native bees and how pollinator resources benefit honeybees. She'll also cover garden preparation for fall and winter, encouraging a more natural appearance to provide habitats for wintering invertebrates. Wear comfortable shoes for touring newly planted hedgerows and visiting our bees in the Brooks estate garden. Wine is included with this tour.

Come celebrate National Honey Bee Day with Save the Bee, The Oregon Bee Project, and King Estate! Get a close look inside a honey bee hive, talk to Master Beekeepers, and take a walk through the King Estate flower gardens and learn to identify native bees and their favorite flora.

This is an intimate walking tour with our Head Gardener Corinne Gosnell. As we walk a simple conversation will unfold on how we developed our Experiece Center's blooming Ring Garden and the Wall Garden. The plants that generate pollen and nectar though-out nine months of the year for our native estate bees. How the curated plantings sustain the bumble bees and various pollinators that we all love and need. A picnic lunch with a glass of Stoller Rose is included in the 65$ RSVP *Club Members will recieve a discount. A list of plants in tour will be handed out to each atendee with Native Bee Chart.
